Get to Know Us

Connecting people with essential spaces.

We’re not in the business of building buildings. We’re in the business of connecting people with essential places they want.

We don’t build offices or business parks, but studios, classrooms, labs and headquarters. We don’t offer retail opportunities but rather shops, cafes, practices and ultimately livelihoods.

We don’t see buildings, we see the people inside the buildings. We walk in the same shoes as those who live and work within our buildings, our team.

Horsepower all under one roof

What started as a local family business in British Columbia over 60 years ago has grown to become one of Western Canada’s largest, and most respected private real estate organizations. Wesgroup is proud to have built more than 7,000 homes and over 100 communities while managing over 3 million square feet of commercial property as well. All of this is possible because of the industry’s best in-house horsepower that Wesgroup maintains all under one roof.

01 Acquisitions

Think Big and Long Term.

Years of experience over many real estate landscapes has provided us with the ability to creatively find solutions that enable the finest development opportunities to serve our communities.

02 Finance / Capital Lending

Strength in numbers.

Our in-house finance team maintains relationships with lenders, sourcing transactions directly. This reduces the need for brokerage services and fosters stronger connections with capital partners. Our strength and strategic relationships give us the ability to act quickly to take advantage of market opportunities as they emerge.

03 Development

From conception to completion.

Our talented development team is involved in every aspect of a Wesgroup project. From conception to completion, they are the quarterback leading our projects. They oversee our multi-disciplinary internal teams and external consultants, and work with government authorities for approvals, manage community consultation, and are vital in the design of all of our projects.

04 Sales & Marketing

Employing real-time strategies.

Wesgroup maintains both sales and marketing in-house to market and sell all its projects. By prioritizing direct relationship with buyers and agents, Wesgroup has access to real-time information to direct strategies, optimize product mix, and take advantage of changing buyer sentiment, ensuring we build the right project for our customers.

05 Construction

Building for the future.

Having Wesgroup Contracting Ltd. act as the in-house General Contractor for Wesgroup Properties’ projects brings a wide range of benefits that enhance our competitive advantage. Unlike a typical General Contractor process, this resource means decisions can be made quickly while ensuring uncompromised quality control thanks to direct collaboration with various stakeholders.

06 Leasing

Developing lasting relationships.

At Wesgroup, authentic relationships are at the foundation of our success. We pride ourselves on being there for our valued tenants—from the original deal throughout the full term of their tenancy. It’s also the reason we have developed outstanding relationships with the brokerage community to ensure we’re always on top of the market, trends, and forecasts.

07 Asset Management

Optimizing the value of income properties.

Asset management is a multi-disciplinary process that includes business planning, leasing, capital planning, operational efficiency, reporting and environmental stewardship. By maintaining an in-house team of professionals, Wesgroup has a full 360 degree view of its income properties from tenant relations to operational performance. This knowledge equips us with valuable insights to provide innovative real estate solutions to our customers and the market.

08 Customer Care

‘Customer care’ is not a title. It’s a promise.

Our dedicated Customer Care Team is committed to providing an amazing experience for each purchaser, before, during, and after completion. As an integral part of every Wesgroup project, they are involved right from the very beginning—everything from quality control and building completion, to the New Home Warranty program and beyond. This gives our team incredible insight and knowledge that will serve homeowners for years to come.

Wesgroup is a mission-based company.

Wesgroup’s mission is to add real value to people’s lives.

We care for our people, tenants, and communities through the environmental and socially responsible stewardship of our growing collection of properties.

Judge a company by the values they keep.

The values Wesgroup was founded on still hold true today. They guide us in our decision making and inform how we conduct our business. Most importantly, they have fostered a culture that keeps us genuinely connected to each other, to our customers and partners, and to the communities we are part of.

These are the values we live by:
